Starting Up a Home Based Business Part 3

Ok...ok....I think I missed something. I forgot that you may not have any idea what business you should be in. There are so many opportunities these days and so many people marketing the so called best way it can get confusing for anyone. I know there are many people that want to change but really don't know what the heck they would ever offer anyone, what kind of business could I do? What do I have to sell?

Well, no matter what, you have to have passion for what you are doing and it has to have purpose. Another key thing that no one really talks about is what in the heck do you do and have done. You see unless you want to learn something new it is best to sticking to what you know. But here is a way to find out what you may be passionate about and maybe you didn't even see it! We are going to talk about finding your Niche. We are not going to research the web for already developed niches; we are going to find out what it is in you! And then we go do some research to see if we can find a way to make some money.

So what is it that you do? What is it that you have done in your life? You can go back as far as you want. I suggest starting when you were a kid and can remember some of your passion there. You can look at when you were a teenager and you might discover something you really enjoyed and has slipped away. Think about the jobs you have had. Think about your passions very hard, maybe it is a topic or a certain subject you really like talking about.

For the next week or longer, here again you are going to have to write, and it is going to be like a journal. But keep track of your thoughts, what you do, when you do it, where you do it and why you do it. Here again the Five W's emerge and the questions will come up to your subject/topic/niche and you should have the answers. Here is something to work on that might give some insight and help you. I want you to write down a vision of where you picture yourself, not a dream but a vision. Who do you see in it? Where do you see yourself and who with? What are you doing? When are you there? Why are you there? This is a challenge, leave your vision in the comments and post it for meaning!

But after one week of doing this you may discover something about yourself and realize that one little detail, habit, action is a niche in itself and it is something you have experience at. Experience is exactly what it is, On the Job Training, I have done something for years but didn't know a lot of people had the same question as I did. It is amazing what might come out, but you will have a better understanding of who you are and what it is that gets YOU going. You want to pick a subject that you can debate for hours because you have a passion for it and you have experience talking about. Get the connection with yourself and then we can find out more.

I am sorry I missed this one because a lot of people may not know how to find the value within them selves at first. I think this is fundamental to finding what it is you are an expert at. Through your experience and it could be a simple as to how to change a diaper efficiently. Or maybe you do this better than anyone else you know. Like make the best dark chocolate cake. I don't like putting things like this up because it can make you mind wonder to baking cakes instead of the brownies you are really so proud of and everyone loves to eat.

So I hope you see my point that your passions are your niche that you will be more successful with and want to work at everyday, because that is you. I believe this is fundamental because once you learn these steps, moving onto other projects will only increase your value in the long run.
